Environmental work

  • Riddu Riđđu is Eco-Lighthouse certified Norwegian standards. Working on recycling as a volunteer involves providing our audience members and guests with sufficient information and facilities, in accordance with relevant guidelines. Helping us making sure the festival area is kept clean is important for the wellbeing of our attendees, and for maintaining our Eco-Lighthouse certification. You will work across the festival grounds, which also means that you get to experience large parts of the festival when you are on duty!

Social media, website or help with press

  • do you speak Norwegian, English and / or a Sámi language? Do you want to be where it happens? Do you want to ensure that visiting journalists have everything they need to do their work?

Take care of artists, veahkki / volunteers or bargi / staff

  • this can involve creating a cozy and pleasant atmosphere in the volunteer tent or artist café, take care of artists backstage, and/or welcoming artists upon their arrival

Fixing small and large? Do you like working with axes, chainsaws and drills - or do you want to try?

  • Whether you already are a practical person or want to become one, you will thrive in the construction group. Minor and major things need seeing to: putting up signs, barns and fences. Do you know anything about electricity or water?

Sell ​​food, beer or kiosk goods to the public

  • you get to be in the hustle and bustle of things, and get to know the Riddu audience

Be an audience host and parking host

  • you contribute to the safety and well-being of our audience. We welcome people, help them make a bonfire in a safe way, and setting up lávvu at a safe distance.

Do you have language skills?

  • Sámi, Russian? Other? Language skills are an important resource for us, as we often need an interpreter.

Do you want to work at the Children's festival / Mánáidfestivála?

  • we require a valid criminal record certificate from the police for everyone who works in this area. This is free to apply for, and we'll happily assist in the prosess.
