Another major booking for Riddu Riđđu

Ticket sales for next year's Riddu Riđđu festival are in full swing, and the first 100 festival passes are sold at a discounted price. Today the festival announces that fan favorites ISÁK returns to Kåfjord for Riddu Riđđu Festivála 2022.

The band ISÀK released their second studio album "Roasut" in January this year, and delivered an unforgettable show for Riddu Nuorat - the festival's youth programme - in 2021. They are known for their outstanding stage performances and sky-high energy levels. Riddu Riđđu is excited for the group to return to Gáivuotna next summer. ISÁK's music combines yoik and urban synth, with a lyrical message that is conveyed in both Sámi and English. 

Festival director Sandra Márjá West is pleased with the announcement:

"ISÁK is Sápmi's most active band. Their music and what it stands for is wholeheartedly in line with Riddu Riđđu's values, ​​and I look forward to dancing on Riddusletta again."

Artists already announced for next year's festival include: Lido Pimienta, Elin & the Woods, Katarina Barruk, Ailu Valle + Amoc. News about the festival program for 2022 will be announced on www.riddu.no.
