The North is under pressure. The great powers are playing a geopolitical game of territories and resources and paying minimal attention to the people on the ground. Might is right seems to be the current credo of world politics. In this situation, art must take to the barricades. 

Nunatta Isiginnaartitsisarfia (the Greenlandic national theater) meets Nordting / The Northern Assembly (known for the slogan "Make the North Great Again!") for a joint manifestation of solidarity, community and sovereignty. There will be mask and drum dances from Kalaallit Nunaat, music for oil drums and stockfish, appeals, flags and singing. 

Two sides of the Arctic meet in an international, unique collaboration on Riddu Riđđu's main stage, using art to build resistance. This is not a performance, it is a joint protest; both poetic and political, silent and loud.
