SOÁ is Sápmi's newest band. They debuted live at the Sámi Grand Prix this year with the song "Áiggi mielde" where they reached the gold finale. The band plays original Sámi songs that will be part of their upcoming album. This is an opportunity for the audience to hear something they have never heard before. Music to dance, cry and lift fists to. The trio consists of Ellinor Skartland, Andreas Gundersen - both from Tana in Sápmi - and Portuguese David Cariano Timme. The name SOÁ is Portuguese and means "sounds" / "čuodjá".
