DAGNY, ÁGY and Ondt Blod announced for this years Riddu Riđđu

Three north-norwegian names with the world at their feet are ready for this summer’s  Riddu Riđđu Festival; DAGNY, who is assumed to be the next international star from Norway, Ágy who is back under a new musical persona and Ondt Blod who has established their position in the top league of Norwegian hardcore bands.

The Tromsø born artist DAGNY is Norway's new pop sensation. When her singel «backbeat» was released in the fall of 2015 it was streamed 9 millioner times on Spotify during the first months and secured her as listed amongst the  «Artist to watch» on Apple, Spotify and Tidal. The singels «Blackbeat» and «Fool's Gold» have been greatly played on radio and by music journalists her music is described as energetic synth-pop with fabulous vocals.  

ÁGY, the shooting star from Nordreisa, is back with a new musical persona and has entered the r&b universe. ÁGY became a national sensation when her singel «Arvedávgi» was listed ion P3, as one of very few with sami lyrics. The Sami elements are of course present now that she has entered a new genre. «It is always a nice electric feel at the Riddu- meadow, and after many years as audience I will finally contribute to this energy performing on stage.  I feel at home at Riddu Riđđu – everyone is welcomed there", says ÁGY with hearts in her eyes.

«Ondt blod» is a hardcore quintet, where four out of five members has backgrounds from the upper most county of Norway – Finnmark. After receiving outstanding reviews for their debut album “Finnmark”, they have established a position in the top league of Norwegian hardcore bands. They´ve been listed on P3 and has a reputation as stagesmashers in the underground music scene. Ondt blod has this to say about playing Riddu Riđđu; «We will put on our Lyngen Gákti and will bring several new singels in our “luggage”.
