Registrations / Tickets: 

Some parts of the program requires that you register in advance to ensure entrance/seating. Participation is included in the festival ticket.

Riddu Nuorat og Mánáidfestivála require that you register in advance. 

We open for registration Spring 2024. 

 

The rest of the program, including Yurt concerts, tea-ceremonies, film and seminars does not require ticket reservations. Seats here are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. 

Shower

The basement of the Center for Northern Peoples offer modest shower facilities.

  • Wednesday - Saturday: 10:00-13:00 and 17:00-21:00.
  • Sunday: 10:00-14:00. 
  • Shower ticket: 20,- (cash or Vipps). Volunteers shower for free.
Bracelets

Only those with a festival bracelet can access the festival area. The bracelet is personal, and is obtained by purchase of daily tickets or festival tickets. We offer a free entry to our market all days until 6 pm. 

Age limits
  • The festival area after midnight: 15 years of age
  • Háše duohken bar: 18 years of age
  • Festival Camp: 18-years of age  
  • Family camp: no age limit
Payment

We prefer that you use your card to make payments. We also accept Vipps and cash. 

Animals - pets

It is not allowed to bring animals / pets to the festivalarea or the festivalcamp. Pets are allowed at the family camp. But remember to pay attention to other guests at the family camp and we assume that your animal have good welfare even if you are participating at the festivalarea. 

Accessibility

Riddu Riđđu Festivála wants to be an inclusive and accessible festival to everyone.

Volunteers: If you have a disability you can still help us organize the festival! Please report to our volunteer manager what needs you have, and we will organize your volunteer shift in the best possible way.

HC parking: We have reserved parking spaces for people with reduced mobility near the entrance to the festival area. If you need this kind of parking, please send us an email about this before the festival starts to riddu@riddu.no

Municipal attestation is accepted . 

Food and allergies: In the cafe and our food stall you will find menues with information on ingredients.

Accessibility, festival area:

The festival is mostly outdoors, there can be challenges related to accessibility in the festival area itself. There is a separate road into the festival area, but much of the program takes place on a lawn that can be bumpy. Accessibility can also be affected by the weather. We recommend wheelchair users to accompany their companions.

Main stage: Unfortunately, we currently do not have a wheelchair accessible ramp. If you have trouble standing upright for a long time, it is recommended to bring something to sit on.

Children's Festival: We want all children to be able to attend our children's festival! In order to be able to organize the best possible experience, please send us an email about the needs of your child before the festival begins. Send an email to riddu@riddu.no

The small stage: The area around the small scene can be some bumpy. Wheelchair users are advised to bring an attendant here.

The library: Step-free access and good accessibility. HC toilet available.

The Cultural hall: Easy access. Good accessibility in the arena.

Riddu siida: The area of ​​the Siida is somewhat bumpy, and wheelchair users are advised to bring an attendant. The various houses at the siida are not easily accessible for wheelchair users.

The Nisga'a House: Ramp access from the entrance on the right hand. HC toilet available.

The Baldaávvues: Difficult access for wheelchair users. Does not have HC toilet.

Háše duohken bar: Difficult access for wheelchair users. In order to buy drinks, you first have to buy vouchers in our nearby store. Wheelchair users are advised to bring their attendant here.

Center for Northern People: Wheelchair access. HC-toilet. Elevator downstairs where seminars / art exhibitions are held.

Camp 18 + / Family Camp: Difficult access for wheelchair users as the ground is grass and it can be bumpy. Unfortunately, there is no HC toilet.

Ticket booth: Easy access. The operating height of the disk for payment is somewhat high.

Food service: Access via a ramp, from foodorder to payment.

Kiosk: Easy access. The operating height of the disk for payment is somewhat high.

Water

We recommend you to not drink water from the river. It can be polluted. We have several water stations at the festival area, bring your own bottle and fill it up with fresh and free water!
