Riddu Riđđu's fall programme: pop, yoik and comedy
As we prepare for next year's festival, we are excited to share our autumn program with Sámi events in Kåfjord and Tromsø. Whether you are craving Ume Sámi pop tunes, melodious Sámi Christmas music, or a deep belly laugh - Riddu Riđđu's got you covered. Several artists have already been announced for the festival in 2022 and tickets or on sale.
Riddu Riđđu's autumn program:
Atmospheric pop with Katarina Barruk
Katarina Barruk has made a name for herself by creating music that combines jazz, pop and traditional yoik, with lyrics written and performed in the endangered language Ume Sámi. This autumn, Barruk will bring a full band to Manndalen and the Center for Northern People.

Sámi stand-up with Reaškkas
Reaškkas is a stand-up project developed by Riddu Riđđu with participants from different parts of Sápmi. "Reaškkas" is Northern Sámi for "the belly laughter itself" - a good indicator of the vibe you can expect with the following people on stage: Isalill Kolpus, Ánne Márjá Guttorm Graven, Ánte Siri and Åse Vuolab.

Christmas concert with Kajsa Balto
Kajsa Balto is known for moving her audience with an impressive vocal performance and heartfelt delivery. The Sámi artist played a critically acclaimed concert during Riddu Riđđu festivála this summer. Now she is returns to Kåfjord with her brand new Christmas album "Sámi juovllat". The album combines traditional Christmas hymns and self-written material - all in Northern Sámi.
