Concert: Tia and Fawn Wood
At this year’s festival, we’re lucky to experience an intimate concert with two of the guests from this year’s Northern People program — the sisters Tia and Fawn Wood!
Fawn Wood is an award-winning Cree and Salish artist and traditional singer, as well as a cultural educator and language advocate from Canada. She is known for her powerful voice has earned a JUNO Award for Best Traditional Indigenous Artist.
Younger sister of Fawn, Tia Wood, first launched into the public sphere and built a fan base through social media with short videos of her mesmerizing sound. Together the sisters will bring a unique blend of their different expression to the stage.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness the Woods share their voices, stories, and spirit in a setting that highlights both their individual artistry and powerful connection as siblings.
See you in Báldalávvu!
