Qummut Pujorit
Qummut Pujorit is a theatre concert based on songs written by Greenland’s greatest pop-rock singer and songwriter, Ole Kristiansen.
The songs, reinterpreted in this performance, primarily revolve around love — the pain of a breakup, and for another, the discovery of new love. We follow a group of friends who reveal their deepest thoughts through melancholic songs. The production is created by director and artistic director of Nunatta Isiginnaartitsisarfia (The National Theatre of Greenland), Vivi Sørensen, in collaboration with five singers, including a guest performer from the Canadian theatre collective Qaggiavuut. The music is performed live by Inuk Brandt Petersen and Glenn Møller.
Experience a modern Inuit story with high musical quality, created in Greenland by Inuit.
