ASAP – As Slowly As Possible

Performance

With DJ Radio-JusSunná & Ellos Deatnu!

Who has the right to just be? Who has the right to be slow, vulnerable, soft, sensitive?

ASAP ~ As Slowly As Possible is an immersive dj set which strives for holding space for a tomorrow where land and all living beings are not treated as endless resources.

DJ Radio-JusSunná plays soft tunes from different corners of the Earth with varying rhythms and pulses. ASAP ~As Slowly As Possible blends electronic music, spoken words and installation art, infused with the nostalgic aesthetics of a Sámi auntie’s living room from the 90s.

Radio-JusSunná and Ellos Deatnu! invite you all for a shared resting space for daydreaming.

ASAP is a part of and inspired by the creative collective work called Orodansadji – A Place To Be – Olemisen tila created by Sámi artists Merethe Kuhmunen, Jenni Laiti and Sunna Nousuniemi. The work Place To Be has been envisioned during Punos collective’s online residency with the title Whose Climate, Whose Futures? Project.
