This is a practical course with a focus on practicing different joiks. Here you will be served campfire coffee, taste Sámi words and listen to stories.

You do not need prior knowledge - the yoik wokrshop is suitable for everyone. In the workshop you will get to know yoik better, and learn different types of yoik including people, animal and landscape yoiks, and perhaps you yourself will be inspired to make a joik.

Instructor is teacher and yoiker Berit Alette Mienna.
