Would you like to know a bit more about yoik and yoiking? Attend our drop-in yoik workshop!

This is a practical class with a focus on practicing different yoiks. Here you will be served campfire coffee, learn Sámi words and listen to stories.

You do not need prior knowledge - the yoik class is suitable for everyone. In the workshop you will get to know yoik better, and learn different types of yoik including people, animal and landscape yoiks, and perhaps you yourself will be inspired to make a yoik?

Instructor is teacher and yoiker Berit Alette Mienna.
